McDonald’s is entering the Chicken Sandwich War of 2019 with a late passage.
The fast food giant is trying two new chicken sandwiches – the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the Deluxe Crispy Chicken Sandwich – in Houston and Knoxville that could be turned out to eateries across the country, the organization affirmed to USA TODAY Monday.

The Chicken Sandwich War started Aug. 19, seven days after Popeyes’ presentation of its New Orleans-style singed chicken on a bun when the chain began a viral Twitter fight with Chick-fil-An and different cafés.
